Viral video’s a funny thing. Take an idea, give it a twist, tweak it here and there, turn it on its head and watch the video spread.
If you can sprinkle sex on top, all the better. This gets you the likes of Fox, ABC, the New York Times and a host of others driving your video about.
Such is the case with the ballyhooed Obama Girl video we filmed in our studio the other week.
Ben Relles came in with a great idea. We were more than happy to oblige with the production. A week later CNN covered the video and since then the views have grown.
The coverage gets silly at times, like when the MSM takes their role as mediating arbiters a bit too seriously. Or when they leap off the deep end trying to make sense of it all — like in this exchange where MSNBC brings Washington Post political blogger Ed O’Keefe on board. His deep thought is that the video demonstrates that Obama is all style and no substance.
If we’d been invited to that exchange, we’d have simply said that sometimes a banana’s a banana, a penis just a penis and some lighthearted T&A a beautiful thing to behold.
Anyway, we think the folk at barelypolitical.com are onto something. They came in for video number two last Friday. It’s a fun one. And if you think Amber Lee Ettinger is a hottie, wait until you see the next candidate’s supporting caste.
