Ann Coulter Perfected
BarelyPolitical.com and ScribeMedia.org have joined forces on several occasions; You can see Scribe’s studios in the background of the original “I Got A Crush On Obama” music video.
With “Perfected”, however, the satire has turned darker, and I have to admit having mixed feelings about this assignment, which I directed and edited.
Ann Coulter’s comments are usually so extreme that I can only conclude that she does not seek to be taken seriously, but merely to keep herself in the limelight and keep selling books. So in making this video, and hoping to make a media splash by riding Coulter’s coattails, aren’t we just giving her the attention she wants?
Though I do not agree with her views, I must admit that she is a genius of the New Media Age: She knows how to keep herself in the headlines. With a target like Coulter, perhaps there are no attacks, only homages.
