Pando Networks CMO interview
We got to interview a number of thought leaders / CTO types at Streaming Media West in San Jose last week (Nov 6 – Nov 9 2007). This interview with Yaron Samid (CMO, Pando Networks) was conducted by Dan Rayburn (Exec VP, Streaming Media magazine) and filmed by yours truly ~ just Drew, with Peter Cervieri adding Madden-esque color commentary regarding the state of CDN services (thoughtfully edited out for your listening pleasure).
Dan - as grand inquisitor of the stream - gives us a great Q&A session with Mr. Samid covering everything from the necessity to expand services at the provider level to integration of P2P technologies and traditional CDN client / server delivery (dogs and cats living together??!!) and even a shout out to his spawn… all good stuff – and some great business model advice from a real thought leader over at Pandonetworks.com … check it out and supercharge your rayguns – its gonna be a bangin’ year in the new wild west of media as people vie for eyes and minds preprogrammed to purchase and piddle on the moving playground in front of them. Youtube ain’t nothing compared to what’s coming… its sooo 2006.
For this video we feature the Dragonfly player. We will be doing extensive reviews of all the streaming video platform companies over the next few months.
