International Beauty Show featuring NY Streets
The 2008 International Beauty Show (IBS) in NYC was a hit – with over 50,000 people in attendance! Some of the hottest, trendiest, and most exciting beauty professionals traveled from around the world to showcase their talents and show off their best products. From a blow dryer shaped like a giant green hand to a makeup strip that only takes one application to achieve perfection, there was no shortage of innovative ideas and breakthroughs in the beauty industry this year. One company that stood apart from the rest – New York Streets. After sampling a few of their hair products, I knew I had found a brand that “delivered the goods.” I loved the fragrance of the products, the savvy urban chic packaging, and the theory behind the line – creating a “hair culture collection” that draws upon street style and the freedom to express yourself through your hair.
