ScribeMedia Launches From Print To Digital WebTV Series
This new live WebTV series, hosted by ScribeMedia senior editor Matthew Schwartz, will provide an in-depth look on the transformation of print media to digital media. Each show, focusing on a different aspect of media, will examine the opportunities and challenges that media outlets and advertising agencies face in order to position their companies for the future. Programs will feature deep-dive interviews with top publishing and advertising executives, plus real-world examples of the dramatic changes engulfing the media industry.
Initial four-part series: technology publishers
- Part 1: Overall trends regarding transforming print products to digital venues; nitty-gritty of taking a traditional print product and tailoring it for the Internet.
- Part 2: Changing nature of integrated marketing: Ways in which technology publishers are selling integrated marketing packages and learning to lead with online marketing, augmented by – although not necessarily in order – print, events, lists and custom-media products. This aspect of the programming should include senior executives from ad agencies, both traditional and digital.
- Part 3: The editorial challenge: How editorial can work more effectively/efficiently with the IT department and/or online marketing executives. Address budgetary questions re investing in editorial versus investing in IT. Find tech publisher who can provide senior editorial/IT execs to address trends in this area
- Part 4: What role do (increasingly sophisticated) virtual events play in technology publishers’ arsenal? How are technology publishers building their events online to corral more of the targeted market and get more people attend the show (online)?
