Hockey Night in America

it’s time for hockey to become popular again. it’s time for bill simmons, as someone who can influence sports fans, to give hockey some love.

i’m watching the penguins / red wings game, currently in overtime, and am hanging on every rush, every shot, and every hit. it’s intense.

besides boston / edmonton in 1988 & 1990, my favorite cup final was pittsburgh / minnesota in 1991. i love small market teams and loved the north stars. i liked the canucks too in 1994 when they lost to the rangers in 7.

i’m guessing pittsburgh is going to lose the game because they’re not playing their 3rd and 4th line and their first two lines are dead right now. that sucks because i want to see a game 6.

props to NBC for carrying the finals!
