Another indication that we’re creeping toward a Web world (at least when it comes to media spending): a report by Publicis Groupe SA’s ZenithOptimedia that Internet advertising spending will surpass radio this year. Steve King, head of ZenithOptimedia, told analysts in Paris Wednesday that the Web will garner about 9.5% of ad budgets worldwide this year, compared with 9% for radio. King said Web ad spending will overtake magazines in 2010.
