It’s another indication that in the not-too-distant future video displays will be ubiquitous: the Out-of-Home Video Advertising Bureau (OVAB) has signed on six more place-based networks and manufacturers. New members include NBC Everywhere, PumpTop TV and Ripple, which push video displays in gas stations, supermarkets, fast-food restaurants and retail locations, among other areas. With the addition of NBC Everywhere, OVAB now has two out of the four big broadcast networks as members; CBS Outernet joined in April.
