Google has rolled out its answer to Second Life and (gasp!) it has no advertising component. On Tuesday Google introduced Lively, a virtual/avatar world that allows users to embed alter egos online into their own blogs and social-networking sites. The service only works on Windows Vista or XP, and Google is working on a MySpace version, per paidcontent.org. Google has no plans to sell advertising on the site.
