FCC to Comcast: Not So Fast… or Slow
The AP reported last night that the FCC will reprimand Comcast for slowing BitTorrent traffic. Punishment will be meted out August 1. As Vindu Goel of the New York Times notes though, the move could hurt Internet users by pushing Internet Service Providers to charge for overall data transfer instead of connectivity speeds.
