PaidContent.org has a new Parent

For the last year two years or so it’s been a bit of a parlor game in media precincts on when (and who) would buy ContentNext, the parent company of digital media Web site paidContent.org. Now the guessing is over. On Friday U.K.-based Guardian News & Media acquired ContentNext. Financial terms were not disclosed. ContentNext, founded in April 2002 by business journalist Rafat Ali, publishes four specialist blogs, including (must-read) paidContent.org. (Full disclosure: paidContent.org is a customer of ScribeMedia.org’s media-services division.)
