More Legs for LinkedIn

The New York Times and social media network LinkedIn on Tuesday announced that they have formed a strategic partnership. Under the terms of the agreement, LinkedIn users will get information that’s relevant to their profession from the Business and Technology pages of NYTimes.com. Readers will also be able to share and discuss stories with LinkedIn members in their networks. LinkedIn in April started a similar partnership with BusinessWeek.com. Following its latest round of funding, LinkedIn is now valued at $1 billion.
