Naked Media host Dorian Benkoil interviews Alan Levy, co-founder and CEO of BlogTalkRadio, and John Mack, editor and publisher of Pharma Marketing News, at the Web 2.0 Best Practices Conference. Levy talks about people and companies using phones to launch their own radio (well, podcast) shows. And, he says, they’ll be launching video. He also talks about how they generate ad dollars, their rev shares, and licensing the technology. The company expects to become profitable in the second half of next year, Levy says. Mack, who hosts the show Pharma Marketing News, says he’s not making money directly — yet. But it’s good exposure.
