GOP attempts to block some Michigan voters
Republican representatives in Michigan have made very clear their intention to block voters who claim to be living at a foreclosed home. Citing that the foreclosure does not make them a “true resident”, so called “election challengers” will be assigned to each polling location with a listing of foreclosed properties. The measure stands to primarily block African-American Democratic voters, a group which largely fell victim to the sub-prime mortgage crisis. Michigan Messenger
