With the U.S. divorce rate forever hovering 50%, we were surprised to learn it took this long to launch a Web site (firstwivesworld.com) devoted to women transitioning through divorce. The site includes a directory, social network and relevant news. It also features original programming, such as “Hot Flashes,” a blog written by Mimi Schmir, one of the writers of “Grey’s Anatomy”; the “Debbie Does Divorce” video series and “Get Fit Post Divorce” vlogs from celebrity personal trainer Kathy Kaehler.
