Digital news publisher Texterity on Monday debuted Coverleaf.com, a digital-magazine newsstand. The free Web site allows readers to browse through categories of magazines (business & finance, cooking & food, health & fitness), pick one off a digital shelf, check out the table of contents and click on any article. Readers can subscribe to either the print or digital version of a magazine or buy a single copy of a current or back issue of a digital magazine. The Web site also allows publishers to include in their digital magazines sound, video and hotlinks.
