Uploading video on YouTube will no longer seem like stuffing 10 pounds into a five-pound bag. YouTube’s new video uploader, which allow users to upload files up to 1GB in size instead of its previous 100 MB limit, is now available to any users who want to opt-in. Once users opt-in to the new uploader they can input metadata such as the clip’s name, description and tag (while it’s uploading) as well as upload multiple videos simultaneously to streamline the uploading process. In a recent blog post, YouTube CEO and co-founder Chad Hurley wrote that 13 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute.
