Social Networks were all the rage at the start of 2002, but more recently, the “rage” has become the standard. Facebook recently reached 100 million users and social networking has become the platform for communication among people of all ages, across almost all countries. But it is an ever-changing ecosystem, and is difficult to understand from an advertising point of view. Enter SocialCash stage right.
After eight years working in the web advertising and social network space, we’ve learned one thing: It’s all about the conversation. Whereas the old model was to present static ads at increments along a content stream, the new model is to become fully immersed in the flow of conversation within
various modules inside social networks. In this presentation, we lay out some of the core elements about how this conversation takes place and how advertisers can become involved.
