The TimesOnline has an interesting piece on Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. Zuckerberg chimes in on what’s in store for the wildly popular social network, which now has more than 110 million active users. He said Facebook has a “strong advertising business” and is building an international salesforce to improve upon it. Also in the pipeline: “engagement ads” which encourage users to share and comment on brands. Zuckerberg insists in the article that he is not motivated by money. By his own estimates Facebook will make only about $300 million in revenue this year, mainly in display advertising on the site in a deal with Microsoft, and will have a negative cash flow of about $150 million.
