We just finished producing three related conferences at what used to be the Supper Club in NYC. The new venue is the Edison Ballroom.
In our never ending quest to show professionals in the AV space what gear others are using to get the job done, I did a quick flip camera interview with Greg Fellows, who led the charge on AV production.
Greg’s set up included lots of laptops, a Folsom Image Pro HD, Marshall V-R1041DP-AFHD monitors, an Analog Way DI-VENTIX – DVX8022, an Analog Way ULTRA-VIO – VU301-IOD1, an Aja 3GM, and a Miranda SDM-874p HD/SD Serial Digital Video to DVI Converter.
Greg was getting the video feeds from 3 Sony HD cameras, two on either side of the room, and one ceiling mounted camera that was front of house. The audio feed was coming in from the main audio board.
He was then sending the feed out to the house LCD displays, the projection screens on stage, and a DataVideo HS-1000 that we were using to do a live mix, not for the in-house audience, but to create on-demand videos that we released online the day after the event.
Brad rocks the DataVideo HS-1000 while Greg (background) uses the Ventix switcher.
