In a downward economy, the dynamics of media buying and selling are likely to change. But to what degree? Media companies both offline and online have started to shed significant numbers of employees, and more layoffs are expected. Will there subsequently be a shakeout among social media networks and ad networks? And what do media companies need to do, particulalry online, to improve accountability in online ad sales and make sure their customers don’t take their business elswhere?

These are some of the questions I’m excited to ask media veteran Gene DeWitt, who will join us on the next edition of ‘From Print to Digital.’ Gene is one of the most gracious and knowledgeable guys in the business and always has something insightful to say about media trends.
