Sad Macs and Sour Apples

Apple announced that this January will be its last appearance at the annual Macworld Expo in San Francisco. But what’s thrown people in a tizzy is news that Steve Jobs won’t appear for the farewell. While Apple’s been mum about Jobs’ health — he’s battled pancreatic cancer in the past — the markets haven’t. The company’s shares fell 7% this morning and are now down 50% over the past four months.
