A stellar panel discussion on the Blu-ray format – ‘Blu-ray: More Than a Shiny New Disc’ – was moderated by Producers Guild of America New Media Council board member Brian Brodeur, CEO of NewYorkDVD. The event took place at the offices of Media Distributors and Band Pro in NYC.
Gizmo Enterprises discussed and showed some of the elements involved in the upcoming ‘South Park’ Blu-ray title, and both Sony and Sonic Solutions demonstrated issues involved with Blu-ray Live and demonstrated the various uses for the format and some of the more innovative Blu-ray titles.
