What can we say? I’m shaking my head that you actually re-elected Ahmadinejad, but I can’t really fault you. We did, after all, elect George Bush, not once, but twice. The first time he was the dumb affable guy who ran against the stiff smart guy.
The second time around was a bit more painful, in the “I can’t believe people voted for him” kind of way. It seemed that people could be told the word “Terrorists” and they would automatically fall into line unquestioningly. And that meant casting their vote for the candidate who is hard on terrorists and loves America, not the loose liberal former war veteran who hates his country.
All I can say is that you now have your very own George Bush.
