Ushahidi, the open source, crisis management application created in Kenya to map 2008 post-election violence has been deployed in Haiti to provide real-time information about collapses, trapped people, fires, and other emergencies in the aftermath of Tuesday night’s earthquake.
From an email coming in a Listserv I’m a part of you can contribute much needed logistical information by:
- sending an email to haiti@ushahidi.com
- sending information via tweet with the hashtags #haiti or #haitiquake
- filling out a form at the website
