In 1982, Hollywood released TRON – and from that moment on visual effects changed forever. The advent of a virtual character then did not seem far from a producers grasp; today visual effects have become a mind-numbing driving force behind a movie’s raison d’etre, with virtual characters being created in place of real actors. Clips will be screened for discussion.
