ScribeMedia.Org travels the country to capture and deliver speeches, lectures, roundtables and interviews of thoughtleaders across a broad range of subject areas that includes current events, technology, media, business, healthcare and the arts.
The goal is a neutral forum for intelligent dialog and debate, uncluttered by soundbytes, instant punditry and shoutfests that have become our national dialog.
We achieve this by working with Partners and Clients such as publishers, associations and think tanks to film their events for distribution across a variety of channels that include this site, television, radio, mobile devices, or a combination of them all. In short, we deliver content where and how people want to receive it.
We’re located in downtown Manhattan and can be reached at 212.353.0022 or via this form.
We help partners and clients capture and distribute their events as broadly — or narrowly — as desired.
To do so we leverage editorial, production, business and software know-how to create multimedia packages that best serves their audience.
Our services include producing content such as podcasts, video or synchronized slide shows, promoting that content, and/or developing a compelling, mixed media portal to house growing media libraries.
Put simply, we help organizations create and implement content and social media strategies across three content business models — free and ad-supported, pay-per-view, and subscription.
Located in downtown Manhattan, our Studio allows subject matter experts to converse and debate in an intimate, comfortable setting.
The Studio is an ideal space for up to 20 people and is designed specifically for live Webcasting as well as Video-on-Demand production.
We work with associations, conference organizers, publishers and professional groups to produce events and then promote content captured at them to the widest — or most directed — possible audience depending on promotional strategies.
For example, events can be filmed and then edited for on-demand consumption as online or downloadable audio, video, or synchronized presentations. Such content can be sponsor-supported or pay-per-view.
Events can also be delivered through PDA’s/handhelds and DVD.
Media development relies on sound software platforms, and while we work with tremendous open source resources, we also custom-build specific applications to make content hum. We are, after all, brethen to our older sister ScribeStudio.
For those looking under the hood, we do Rails & Java & a bit of PHP, with a variety of Web Services and API work thrown in for good measure. Those looking to webcast live can do so through our Flash Media Servers and related applications, such as ScribeLive.
ScribeMedia Bootcamps are designed to help organizations understand how video, audio and words come together in a digital environment.
Bootcamps are specifically tailored to an organization’s needs and can range from video production and podcast distribution, to social media strategies and the use of video service providers, content delivery networks and content management systems.
